Masterclass 2024

The Úterý Organ Masterclass 2024 will take place on August 13-18, 2024. The lecturer will be Professor Martin Sturm (HfM Franz Liszt Weimar). This year's theme:

South-German and Czech organ music of the 17th and 18th centuries & historical and modern improvisation

The masterclass will include a concert by Professor Sturm at the church of the Assumption of Virgin Mary in Plasy and the traditional closing concert of the participants at the St John the Baptist church in Úterý on August 18 at 19:30.

For this year, we envisage a fee of CZK 2000 or EUR 80 for the participants.

The Úterý Organ Masterclass 2024 will be supported by the Czech Ministry of Culture. We are applying for the support of the Czech-German Fund for the Future and the Stadler-Trier Music Foundation. The project is partly supported by the European Union.
